Join us at our Flexafit studio on Saturday, May 27th from 3-4 pm for a mental training workshop with Sport Psychologist, Dr. Judy Goss.

Dr. Judy Goss is a Mental Performance Consultant that has been working in Toronto for over last 20 years. She is currently a Mental Performance Consultant at the Canadian Sport Institute Ontario where she has worked since 1999. She works on the Integrated Support Teams with Figure Skating, Trampoline, Beach Volleyball and Wheelchair Basketball. Judy received her masters’ degree from University of North Texas and PhD from the University Maryland in Sport Psychology. She is a Certified Consultant, Association for Applied of Sport Psychology, and a member of the United States Olympic Committee’s Sport Psychology Registry. Judy sits on the Managing Council of the Canadian Sport Psychology Association.

Judy has written numerous published articles and her interests are focused on hardiness, burnout, team effectiveness and peak performance. She believes in the holistic development of high performance athletes and endeavours to provide them with the skills to be well rounded high functioning individuals on and off the field of play.

In this 2 hour workshop skaters will:

  • Be led through a recovery-flow class, stimulating the mind-body connection
  • Learn about the impact of goal setting on performance
  • Create a vision board
Participants will walk away with practical goal setting tools to generate optimal performance, stay on track, and take bigger strides toward making their dreams a reality.
