Signe Ronka is the Founder of FLEXAFIT and a high-performance figure skating coach specializing in the integration of on-ice technique with off-ice training. Her approach is rooted in biomechanics, alignment, and precision—developing skaters through a system designed to produce measurable, long-term results.
A former international competitor, Signe is a Canadian Junior Ladies Bronze Medalist, Junior Grand Prix medalist, and has competed at the Junior Grand Prix Final and World Junior Championships. She trained under world-renowned coaches including Ellen Burka, Petra Burka (Olympic medalist), and Marcus Christensen.
Signe holds a CSCS (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist) designation and is an NCCP Level 3 Coach. She has presented at international coaching seminars, including the Skate Canada Ice Summit and the World Championship Coach Seminar in Finland, and has contributed to the ISU Level 2 Coaching Curriculum.
Her work extends to consulting with elite international skaters and training athletes across all levels, from developing skaters to those competing at the highest levels of the sport. She was also selected by Netflix to train actress Kaya Scodelario for a figure skating production.
Through FLEXAFIT, Signe has built a system that bridges the gap between technical coaching and physical development—providing skaters and coaches with a structured, results-driven approach to training.
